Environmental Policy

As a member of the Sumitomo Corporation Group, SCAE will make efforts to realize "sustainable development"
that combines social and economic development and global environmental conservation through sound business activities
based on the Sumitomo Corporation Group's environmental policy.

As a good corporate citizen, we will fully consider the conservation of the global environment in accordance with our company's guidelines for action.

We will comply with all domestic and international environmental laws and regulations, as well as any agreements that we have agreed upon.

We will provide sufficient consideration to the conservation of the natural ecosystem and other environmental issues,
as well as the maintenance and preservation of biodiversity.

We take full consideration for climate change mitigation and adaptation to the effects of climate change.

We recognize the finite nature of resources and energy and strive to make effective use of them.

We will strive to reduce, reuse, and recycle to build a recycling-oriented society.

This environmental policy is disseminated and widely disclosed to everyone working in the SCAE group.
